I'm thirteen, in eighth grade, and a Cambridge native — I've lived here my whole life. Babies have always been my thing. I grew up helping with my younger sister, and over the years I've looked after the children of family friends and neighbors.
I've been in Montessori since I was 18 months old, and I believe in child-led learning and play. My mom is a family educator and child healing expert, and she has taught me so many things.
I've completed Red Cross Babysitter's Training along with Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, so I know what to do if something goes sideways — and I know that mostly the job is being patient, paying attention, and being fun to be around.
I'd love to meet you and your kids before a first sit, so everyone knows each other when the evening comes.

Which one fits depends on your kids' ages and how they do with someone new. If you're not sure, ask me and we'll figure it out together.
Independent sitting
You head out, I stay with the kids. Games, projects, dinner if you leave it, cleanup, and bedtime if that's the plan. I'll text you if anything comes up and leave the house tidier than I found it.
Best for ages 3 and up.
Mother's helper
You're home — working, cooking, on a call, or with a newborn — and I take the kids off your hands in the next room. It's also the gentlest way for a baby or toddler to get used to me.
Best for babies and toddlers, or a first meeting.
Snacks, allergies, screen rules, where things live, and how to reach you. Ten minutes and I'm set.
Drawing, card games, LEGO, reading out loud, the backyard. I bring ideas so nobody defaults to a screen.
If it's a mealtime I'll serve what you've left out and handle the dishes. If it's an evening, I'll keep to your bedtime routine — bath, teeth, books, lights out.
Toys away, kitchen wiped down. When you're back I'll tell you how it went — the funny parts included.

A few days' notice is ideal, especially for weekends. School nights end at 7 PM so I can get home for homework. If a date is close, send it anyway — I'll answer quickly either way.

Please do. I'd rather come by for twenty minutes beforehand, or do a first sit as a mother's helper while you're home, than walk in cold on the night.
For families I already know, and depending on the baby — otherwise I'm happy to be your mother's helper while you're in the house. Babies are my favorite; I'd just rather start with you nearby.
Walking if you're close, otherwise a parent drives me. For sits that end after dark I'll need a ride home or a parent pickup arranged before I start.
I'm trained in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED through the Red Cross, and I'll have your numbers plus my parents' on hand. I text early rather than wait and wonder.
Cash or Apple Cash at the end of the evening is easiest. Otherwise, Venmo through my parents. We can sort that out when we set the date.
Yes — I'll follow whatever routine you use, serve food you've left out, and do the dishes after. Lunch and afternoon snacks too, for daytime sits. Tell me the rules and I'll keep to them.
Send the date and hours, the ages, and anything I should know. I check messages after school and usually reply the same day. My parents see these too — that's on purpose.
